In the 1980s, 400 million bottles of mineral water were being filled each year in Bad Überkingen. After the firm’s business went into terminal decline, in February 2013 IQ 4 YOU took over the insolvent beverage producer and thus acquired the Überkinger brandname. Up till then, IQ 4 YOU had operated as a developer of energy drinks and trendy beverages. Today, the company is firmly established as a respected player in the filling sector.
The Krones Group plans, develops and manufactures machines and complete lines for the fields of process, filling and packaging technology. Its product portfolio is rounded off by information technology, factory planning and products from Krones’ subsidiaries as intralogistics, valve production etc.
