Ozymandias is the episode that propelled Breaking Bad to legendary status. The Rian Johnson-directed episode is probably the single greatest episode in television history. Of the many astonishing images that make the episode, one stands above the rest. When Jack puts a gun to Jessie's head, he looks to the sky for what he believes will be the final time and finds two birds drifting through the air. In this analysis, I explore the theory that the two birds represent Jane and Jessie and explain the anti-materialist message I take away from it.
