Bottle Gourd also know as Halsorekayi/Sorekayi in kannada.
Sorekayi payasa is prepared with tender Sorekayi/Bottlegourd. I have used coconut milk in this recipe. It can be done by grinding the coconut into fine paste as well.
As moong dal/Hesarubele is used in this paysam, this helps in cooling the body. Best for the summer. This recipe is also good for kids above the age of 1 year as its very good for digestion.
