I recently potted up some never never calathea. I seen the leaves start to curl so I put one in a plastic tote and the other I left on the counter. The calathea in the tote straightened it leaves and the plant on the counter did not. I’ve seen this issue a ton in online groups. Depending on how long the leaves have been curled they might not straighten out. If a plant does flatten out slowly get it used to less humidity by opening the container a little each day for more and more time. When you can open take the lid off for a day and not have the plant show signs of stress you can try removing it from the box. I have seen this issue when changing growing media or repotting. The only issue I could see is soil might stay too moist so be sure to check your box.
