Share Market Live Updates: The equity benchmark indices continued their winning streak for the third consecutive session on Tuesday, as the Sensex and Nifty reached new all-time highs. This was driven by foreign fund inflows and a rally in the US markets. The BSE Sensex, consisting of 30 shares, reached a fresh record high of 80,898.30 during late morning trade, before closing at 80,716.55, a gain of 51.69 points or 0.06%. The NSE Nifty also opened positively and achieved a new all-time high of 24,661.25. Although the index consolidated throughout the day, it closed marginally in the green, up 26.30 points or 0.11% at 24,613. In terms of sectors, the Nifty Bank index, which tracks the banking sector and includes 12 banking stocks, declined by 59.10 points or 0.11% to close at 52,396.80. In the broader market, the Nifty Midcap 100 index remained flat, while the Smallcap 100 index added a modest 0.08%.
