In Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon (2021), veteran actor Robert De Niro (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, The Irishman) will play a significant role as William Hale, a cattleman. Leonardo DiCaprio (Titanic, Inception, The Departed, Gangs of New York), will also play a significant role as Ernest Burkhart.

Who was Ernest Burkhart?

SPOILERS:

Hale ordered the murders of numerous Osage Indians in order to gain access to their oil head rights. An investigation by the FBI led by Tom White led to the imprisionment of Hale and his nephew Ernest Burkhart.

Robert De Niro will also be in the film.
