This year, the San Diego Fil-Am Pathfinder Club traveled through North America to reach the 2019 “Chosen” International Camporee.
Over 60,000 Pathfinders had gathered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the highly-anticipated night shows, as well as events such as baptisms and Master Guide investitures.
With activities ranging from drill exhibitions to having honors & activities open to the Pathfinders to enjoy, it is no wonder that thousands of people return even after a 5-year wait.
However, it is not just the destination that we look forward to. There is a lot to be taken from in the journey. Friendships are solidified, memories are made, and best of all: we grow closer to Christ along the way.
Being surrounded by all His creations creates the most surreal feeling within us all and even more so when singing His praises and listening to His word.
When we think of Camporee and the journey there, we are reminded of His love and that we are Chosen to spread that same love towards others
