HERE’S MY “2”...
Moles are very interesting creatures and tend to be territorial. I have read that if a mole comes across another mole in a run they fight to the death. But I was recently told by avid mole catcher, “many times there are two in the same area...a stout one and a smaller one.” Well that was the case with this catch! I caught a mole in this area about 11 weeks ago and was so excited to finally catch him, then when I came back through the same place there was another mole working! I have been chasing him ever since! He would travel from one neighbor’s yard to the other neighbor’s yard. A lot of the mole runs would disappear from the surface and go deeper underground making him harder to follow or find! Well this morning the “finding” was over...we finally met near a small tree! Checkmate and game over! I know these neighbors will be ecstatic! 🤠
