Willow was the lead single off of Evermore, released in 2020. It deputed as the #1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 and also reached #1 in Belgium, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Malaysia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. She performed the song live at the 63rd Grammy Awards. The guitar part was written by producer Aaron Dessner, and the lyrics were written by Swift in just one hour. Swift described the song as a “love spell” and critics describe it as a chamber folk or indie folk ballad.

This video is filmed on a tenor ukulele, though you could also play this arrangement on a concert or soprano ukulele. I developed this fingerstyle arrangement using different inversions, or voicings, which I use to move the melody up the neck. This way I can still maintain chord shapes, giving the tune a chord-melody feel.
