This short story covers Jedi Master Odan-Urr's account of the Great Hyperspace War, along with an explanation of how he came across the knowledge he possesses about the Old Sith Empire. Odan-Urr's retelling of events was recorded ca. 5,000 BBY, following the events of the war. Tionne Solusar's addendum was recorded in 40 ABY.
