DJ Target is a DJ/Producer/Radio & TV personality & Member of both legendary crew’s Roll Deep & Pay as you go.

Targets story starts as far back as the jungle days making early riddims with Trend under the name TNT. Target shortly after joined up with close friend Wiley & Maxwell D to form Ladies Hitsquad

Moreover Pay as You Go Cartel was announced and took the UK Garage scene by storm with members like Major Ace, Slimzee, Godsgift , Plauge, Maxwell D & more.

As UKG started to get a little darker shifting into a more MC based scene which birthed a brand new sound called… 🤔 Wot you call it? Urban? Eski? Sublow? Which went on to be labelled GRIME!

Roll Deep entourage emerged with a super young talent called Dizzee Rascal, alongside the likes of other sets like Nasty Crew, More Fire, East connection etc.

Targets production credits include classic beats like Poltergeist, 2 Degrees, Runaway, My Dairy, Dark Knight, The avenue, Earth Warrior to name a few.

Target cemented his position as a UK music industry tastemaker with a daily drive time show on radio station BBC 1Xtra, he took on the role head of music & continues to DJ live on air up to now.

Target is also well known for his recent TV shows The Rap Game UK with Krept & Konan with new shoe ‘Grime Kids’ dropping soon!
