Ginger Sake 생강술
I started to make these ginger sake to save cooking time. Instead of looking for fresh ginger, peeling them and chopping them each time, I can use ginger sake to reduce the overall prep time. This can be used for all types of marinades and sauces. It can be made ahead and be used for several months. I usually replenish the sake at least twice before throwing out the used ginger. It is great with all types of seafood and meat dishes.
Ginger Sake Ingredients
Soy sauce, 3 cups
Sugar, 3 cups
Ginger, sliced, 3 cups
Water, 1 cup
1. Mix and boil in medium heat for about one hour. Stir frequently to make sure it does not boil over.
2. It is done when the sauce sticks to the spoon.
