When you start out in landscape photography, you shoot everything with a wide angle lens. However, you may find that after a while, wide angle lens photography gets a little boring because you can only shoot the same generic composition over and over. That's why I think you should stop shooting with your wide angle. Instead, pick up a telephoto lens and learn how to create more thoughtful compositions. If you want a real pro tip... get to your location early and set up your wide angle lens. While you wait on the perfect light, get our your telephoto lens and shoot interesting landscapes while the light changes.
