With the opening up of Philippine borders to foreign visitors, 33 foreign missionaries were welcomed once again in the halls of the Missionary Training Center yesterday, February 25, 2022.

In 2020, close to 2,000 foreign missionaries were repatriated due to the pandemic surge. Now that they are back, they will continue where they left off and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in every corner of the country. They are also here to render service in their communities alongside the Filipino missionaries. Missionaries have heeded the Lord’s invitation to join “the greatest work” on the earth.

There is nothing happening on this earth right now that is more important than that. There is nothing of greater consequence. Absolutely nothing. This gathering should mean everything to you. This is the mission for which you were sent to earth.”- President Russell M. Nelson
