Amritsari Fish Recipe:
Fish (Boneless) - 500 grams
Besan Flour - 1 Cup
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Carom Seeds (Ajwain) - 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Salt - ¾ tsp
Club Soda - ¾ Cup
Oil - To Deep Fry
Cooking Instructions:
1. If using a fillet of fish, cut the fish into 1-inch cubes.
2. In a bowl, add besan flour, red chilli powder, cumin powder, ajwain seeds, ginger garlic paste, salt and mix well.
3. Add Soda and form a thin batter.
4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
5. Dip the fish cubes in the batter and deep fry until crispy and golden brown.
6. Serve hot with mayonnaise.
