This is the reason why I headed to Goldfield on Easter- to see one of my favorite bands. It was so nice to see them play for a (relatively) big audience who appreciated their music. This is the best reaction I have seen to an opening band in years. Hard to tell if most of the crowd knew the band, or were just reacting to the greatness as they heard it for the first time.
This is just one angle of 4- we still need to get this one enhanced and edited together- consider this raw footage. As usual, a couple of things went wrong. First of all, I forgot 1 tiny adapter that would allow me to plug into the mixing board. I brought 50 other tiny things to make everything work, but that one thing... nope. Also, the rowdy crowd grabbed my gopro that I had focused on Jeans Wilder(drummer) and ended up setting it on stage, turned the wrong way. So much for the drum cam.
Still a great show. Best I have ever seen them. Glad they are finally getting the props they deserve here in sac.
