Meaningless violence saw the citizens of Muzaffarnagar being rendered homeless and now the same people, who are put up in relief camps are battling shivering cold. Cold related ailments have already snatched the lives of 24 children and more are battling for their lives. Officials of the child welfare commission today visited the relief camps to inspect the living conditions.
