On this evening, we welcome a great line-up of speakers to discuss the origins of Somali migration and the importance of archiving historical and traditional Somali artifacts. Osman Ali founder and executive director of the Somali Museum of Minnesota and life-long collector of traditional artifacts will give the opening keynote speech. He will be joined for a panel discussion by Abira Hussein, currently training with the National Archive, while working on Healing Through Archives, a digital project exploring Somali heritage, migration, and health; and Jenny Altschulera clinical psychologist and family psychotherapist with experience of working with migrant families in the UK
