Meet Count Bleck- a Mario villain with actual depth in character development and a heartrending backstory. Instead of world-domination or the conquering of a kingdom, this man wants nothing more than the very life that hurt him to end- and the destruction of the world that brought him suffering. This is the tenth episode in my series of Dark Aspects of Nintendo, and a follow-up to my videos covering the other Paper Mario games! Be sure to watch those previous entries if you haven't:

"Dark Aspects" is a series is where I analyze the family-friendly games of Nintendo’s legacy that tend to portray more mature themes than one would expect. "Super Paper Mario" furthers surprisingly moodier themes like existentialism- starting with the summoning of a foreboding, omnipresent dimension-eating void.
