Hi, just a quick video here to tell you about the "Traktor Key & Scales Chart" I have created for users of Traktor. From version 2.6.1 Native Instruments have implemented key detection to help with musical mixing.
For those DJs who are not so musically trained, this chart will help you understand what the notes in the scales actually are, and help you learn them. Anyone should find use for this though whether you are a beginner, or a seasoned pro.
The Traktor "Open Key" Modes are shown at the sides. 1d to 12d, which represent the Major Scales is on the left, and 1m to 12m, which represents the Minor scales is on the right. In the middle I have put the actual keys that are in the scales, and underneath each scale is the 'Musical' name of each scale.
For musical DJ mixing transitions you can move step by step up and down the chart, or from side to side, and keep going from 12 back to 1 again.
