I’m making a sort of mini-series showing our favourite couple going through different feelings/emotions. This one is Jealousy – Hermione’s version. Snape’s version is on my TikTok.
► Story
Narcissa and Bellatrix have known for some time now that Snape has a girlfriend, but he has kept it a secret from everyone… They don’t know who she is yet but they have been curious to learn more about her. Snape has always been private about his love life but starts to open up a little, saying he saw her whenever he could despite his death eaters’ obligations. Which was true.
But then, knowing very well that her identity could be threatened, he lies pretending she is no longer in town and has returned to the country. Which got Narcissa thinking he must feel lonely.
While Bellatrix tries re-focusing the discussion on Harry Potter, Hermione suddenly busts into the house. An hour too early actually. She was told not to come back before 5pm but the storm caught her off guard and she promptly went back in. It hasn't occurred to her that Snape could be hosting a death eater meeting right at this moment.
The sisters recognize Harry Potter’s friend immediately. Narcissa is too shocked to speak.
While Snape tries his best to keep a straight face, Bellatrix threatens to tell the Dark Lord, which makes him skip a heartbeat. The vision of Bellatrix resting her chin on his shoulder, makes Hermione jealous. Bellatrix laughs at him, continuing to enjoy her position of power.
It didn’t take long for Hermione to guess that Snape was urging her to leave the room with his eyes.
While Hermione goes to her bedroom, Snape asks them not to tell anyone about their relationship.
He makes the Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa. He swears to protect Draco while she swears to protect Hermione back.
