One of the main attractions at the 2022 Mecum Kissimmee auction is the world-famous 1951 Hirohata Mercury built in the early 1950s by the renowned Barris brothers, Sam and George.
The one-of-a-kind custom coupe packs tons of provenance, pedigree and pop-culture significance. While there's only one Hirohata Mercury, Mecum's Matt Avery rounded up a slew of other Mercury lead sleds from that same era, each packing plenty of that similar low and slow style.
