Here's a set of exercises that will help you work on your left and right-hand independence on the piano using a dance (EDM style) rhythm pattern. The idea is to focus on the "bossa nova clave", a popular Afro-Cuban pattern in one hand, while focussing on maintaining a steady pulse with the other hand. You can really challenge your independence when you bring them together!
The Left-hand plays the Pulse and arpeggios and the right-hand plays the clave. After this, we flip the hands and do the opposite!
