New Continents coming winter 2012. Hype.

Continents are a five piece hardcore band based in South Wales, UK.

Forming in 2010, Continents spent their first eight months writing material that they were passionate about and have since quickly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in an ever-growing UK scene.

In the short time that the band have been playing live they've toured the UK in support of their debut EP and shared the stage with prolific bands such as It Prevails, Awaken Demons, Heart of a Coward, Yashin, House Vs Hurricane, and First Blood.

2011 saw the release of their first single "Trials", which was self-released via all major digital retailers, along with their first official music video (exclusively released on Blank TV) notching up just shy of 10,000 hits in the first few days of being online. Subsequently, in November the band were duly voted as a favourite YouTube UK metal act and won a spotlight feature on the YouTube homepage.

At the end of February 2012 the band were announced to play Europe's biggest indoor metal/hardcore festival, Ghostfest, alongside Emmure, Comeback Kid and Defeater. The band are now working on the completion of their debut full length, due Winter 2012, as well as upcoming shows with the likes of Bury Tomorrow, TRC, Break Even, Hands Like Houses, Azriel, This Is Colour and More Than Life.
