Three double pendulums start from slightly different positions and after some time, their motions are completely different.
The difference between the initial positions of the green and yellow pendulum is 1 μm. This is about the size of a bacteria!
The double pendulum equations of motion were solved using the Runge-Kutta method of 4th order implemented with C++. The plots were done using gnuplot.
