As Manipur enters its fifth month of crisis, fresh violence has been reported in Manipur's Pallel. Two people have died in the violence. According to the Kukis, 200 armed miscreants came from the valley area dressed as police commandos and attacked them. Many Kuki villagers have also fled Pallel as a consequence. Official statements on the incident are awaited.
