I tested out both HelloFresh and Blue Apron and I do a full breakdown review of what I like about both services and what I don't like.

The meals I selected for each are the following...

Hello Fresh:
Tuscan Sausage and Pepper Spaghetti
Meatloaf a la Mom
Hot Honey Chicken

Blue Apron:
Seared Chicken & Pan Sauce
One-Pan Beef & Udon Noodle Stir-Fry
Creamy Fusilli Bucati Pasta

My favorite meal was from Hello Fresh with the Tuscan Sausage and Pepper Spaghetti.

I found Hello Fresh to be slightly simpler recipes. So depending on what you're looking for that could be good or bad. It's nice if you're looking for a good meal that's easier to cook.

If you're looking to be more adventurous I thought Blue Apron was a little better here. The Mashed sweet potatoes I had with the pan seared chicken recipe had an interesting creme fraiche in it. The beef and udon noodle meal had a gochujang sauce that was tasty. I loved the fried rosemary and walnuts on the one pasta dish as well.

I personally am a KISS kind of guy (keep it simple stupid... great advice, hurts my feelings every time). So I like Hello Fresh because it was a little easier and also much more eco-friendly.

It's up to you though and what you're looking for.
