On August 7, 2024 the Town of Scituate and the Scituate Historical Society invite the public to the official lighting ceremony of the Scituate Lighthouse. The renovation of the lighthouse began in late 2022 and included the removal of the lantern room, the replacement of parts of the brick base and the installment of a new lantern room.
