Charging a Hyundai Ioniq 38kWh EV at a Tesla Supercharger. Tesla have opened up some UK Supercharger sites to non-Tesla electric vehicles. In this video, I charge our 2020 Hyundai Ioniq 38kWh at the Tesla Supercharger site at Wokingham, Berkshire. This site is prone to flooding, so it gets a lot of media attention when the charging stalls are standing in flood water!
I made this video in response to a comment on a previous video about the Banbury chargers, which are also open to non-Tesla vehicles, where someone said the Tesla CCS connector doesn't fit in the Ioniq charge port, due to the LED light getting in the way. So I called into this Wokingham Supercharger site to test our Ioniq 38kWh. It does fit just fine.
