Georgian khachapuri | Georgian Cheese bread| Khachapuri recipe
Khachapuri is a traditional Georgian bread topped with melted cheese, eggs and butter. It’s so cheesy and delicious. The most popular version is Adjarian khachapuri/ khachapuri adjaruli, a boat-shaped bread filled with cheese.

Ingredients
For the dough:
All purpose flour-2 cups (260 g)+2-3 teaspoon for dusting
Salt-1/2 teaspoon
Sugar-2 teaspoon
Yeast-1&1/2 teaspoon
Oil-1 teaspoon
Warm Milk- 3/4 cup

Filling:
Mozzarella Cheese-200 g
Feta Cheese-200 g
Egg-3-4 eggs 1 extra egg for brushing
Butter - 2 small pieces ( optional)

Seasoning:
Pinch of salt , pepper/ Chilli flakes

Baking:
Preheat the oven for 8-10 minutes at 200 C. Bake for 12- 15 minutes at 200 C. Then add the eggs and bake for 5-6 minutes.

Note:
1.The milk should be lukewarm, do not use hot milk
2.The dough will be little sticky. However You may add 1-2 teaspoon extra flour the dough is very sticky.
3. After baking 5-6 minutes the egg will be still runny. It will be further cooked as sitting in the hot cheese
4. Serve hot.
