Dovea Svenarti Allora text (and translation from the CD booklet here):
ARIA
(a Marzia)
S Dovea svenarti allora
che apristi al dì le ciglia.
(ad Emilia e ad Arbace)
Dite: vedeste ancora
un padre ed una figlia,
perfida al par di lei,
misero al par di me?
L’ira soffrir saprei
d’ogni destin tiranno.
A questo solo affanno
costante il cor non è.
(Parte.)
ARIA
(to Marcia)
I should have slain you
the day you first opened your eyes.
(to Emilia and Arbaces)
Tell me, did you ever see
a daughter as treacherous
as she, a father as
wretched as I?
I could endure the wrath
of any tyrannical fate.
This torment alone
my heart cannot withstand.
(Exit.)

Another opera seria by the great Vinci (the composer) with libretto by the great Metastasio, it became a quite successful opera since its premiere in Rome in 1728. It featured a all-male cast because of the ban of women singers in Rome by the Pope some years ago. Therefore the women roles are played by castrati - which became a popular feature of operas at that time.
Vivaldi and J.C. Bach also wrote operas using the same libretto.
