Most of us know when you install a Windows game from Steam on the Steam Deck, Proton does some crazy things to make it run on the Linux-based handheld. One of these things is creating a sandboxed Windows folder environment for base files needed to run Windows games.
These folders also often hold game saves and game configuration files you want access to.
It can be tricky finding these folders - especially with a Non-Steam game install like a third party launcher such as EA App or Battle.net.
I'll show you how to find the "secret" Windows folders for both Steam and Non-Steam games as well as how to find the game saves for your favorite titles.
