This is the ultimate guide on how to run a full hardware calibration on your BenQ SW display. This guides includes the latest information on Palette Master Element Release Version 1.3.11 and previous releases including 1.3.10 and 1.3.8. With a comprehensive guide on the best settings and options that you can choose for color gamut (RGB Primary), the best black point, gamma setting, profile version to choose for both Mac and PC. Which LUT type to choose, Matrix or 16 BIT LUT and why? What calibration slot to use including does system distribution really matters any more on Mac and PC? This also include a bonus setting for those who color grade in DaVinci Resolve and the best setting to calibrate your SW display.

The guide will walk you through the set up on both Mac and PC including a SW2700PT with an old firmware that can only be calibrated with Panel Native RGB Primary and the SW270C which you can choose the RGB Primary. This setup will show you how to start the calibration for both Color Spectrophotometer and Colorimeter which can be different and tips on things to look out for when you calibrate using a Color Spectrophotometer.
