Battle Rules: Skills and Spells
From the Action menu, select Skill or Spell to see a list of skills or spells a unit can use. This list will show information such as Range, Power, and Elements. Skills or spells that cannot be used after moving are designated by the footprint icon.

Battle Rules: ZOC and Enclosure
ZOC (Zone of Control): A unit's ZOC consists of the six hexagons around them. This area affects the unit's mobility. You cannot move through an enemy unit's 6-hex ZOC. This allows for various ZOC strategies such as placing units to restrict enemy movement, protecting your rear guard, or keeping units in critical condition out of harm's way.

Status Conditions: Status conditions like Petrify and Poison persist from the moment they are cast. Others like Faint and Paralyze recover after a set amount of turns. Some like Petrify can only be cured with the Cure spell. Status conditions are displayed above the HP bar and in Unit Info.

When a knight changes Class, they may keep their old abilities, or they may be upgraded into more powerful abilities.
