Greg Long is no stranger to making meaty barrels at Puerto Escondido. Been at it for decades. His personal brand of patience always tends to pay off at some point during a shifty, unpredictable Puerto session like what went down on the Fourth of July at Zicatela. Stormy, shifty, hard to be in the right spot, but eventually, as often happens, Long found himself in the perfect spot for a nearly perfect one and picked the correct, dependable line through the sand-bottomed cavern. Then, came in. “One and done,” as he smiles.
