Meet my own adorable schnauzer "Sugar" showing off her training. As a dog trainer, my own dogs seem to get the least amount of training but because I did my early obedience training program with Sugar when she was a young puppy, she has retained all of her training well. Not only that, but now that she understands the process of learning and if I ever decided to continue her training in a certain area, she would be able to pick up right where she left off. Early obedience training is often overlooked and extremely under rated in importance.
Genetics play probably the most important role in the development of a dog. Second most important is how the puppy is raised from birth to weaning. After that is the stage of development where our training program occurs; from weaning to 4-6 months. Each of these steps is so incredibly important for the development of the dog for the rest of its life.
Sugar's breeder will be having another litter of puppies late this year (2017). If you are interested in an amazing trained puppy like Sugar, please contact us early to learn how to get on our waiting list.
