Mandala translated as 'circle' from Sanskrit is a representation of life as it is, of the cosmos, and of the human psyche. It is hard to find a religion that does not include a form of a Mandala in its practices or devotional depictions. Interestingly enough, the consensus that these seemingly different theologies come to is that a Mandala should be contemplated upon or used in a meditation practice. Carl Gustav Jung has dedicated a little more than thirty years to studying the mandala, drawing his own representations of it, and prescribing some of his patients to draw Mandalas as well. In this video I give a short introduction to Mandalas, various beliefs surrounding the subject, Carl Jung's perspective as well as give suggestion to some books and meditation practices that you may want to try if you would like to dive in deeper into this fascinating subject. Thank you all for watching and remember to drop a comment letting me know what you think. May you be well, may you be happy.
