This support video looks at transferring a license from the soft-elicenser to a USB-eLicenser. You can only use Steinberg software like Cubase with a license which you receive after entering your activation code. The license is held on either a soft-eLicenser or a USB-eLicenser. A license transfer is very easy and is necessary if you want to use Steinberg software on more than one computer. You just insert your USB-eLicenser, open the eLicenser Control Center and drag the license from the soft-eLicenser window to the USB-eLicenser window. It’s as easy as that.
