Hello everyone, I am here today to delve deeper into our topic of discussion, which is intriguingly titled "Why They Will Never Apologize?" Have you ever wondered why certain people find it so difficult to utter the words "I'm sorry" in a way that genuinely conveys empathy, remorse, and sincerity? Who are these individuals we're referring to? Why is it that people who exhibit narcissistic tendencies find it so challenging to deliver this kind of heartfelt apology when they've clearly breached a commitment, betrayed a relationship, exhibited controlling behavior, acted critically, shown insensitivity to your feelings, dismissed your concerns, abruptly ended a conversation while you were still speaking, or turned violent and unexpectedly explosive? Why is it so hard for them to take responsibility for their actions? Why can't they simply acknowledge the effects and impacts of their actions on you?
Now, let's try to understand the reasoning behind this. It all boils down to what transpires in the shadows of their actions and their self-realization. Let's be clear, these individuals are not oblivious. They are fully aware that their actions are causing pain. They comprehend that they are the instigators of the distress you're experiencing. However, this realization finds a home in their psyche only for the briefest moment, a mere millisecond. Soon after, they are quick to shift gears into denial, defense, justification, and blame. They resort to deceptive tactics like gaslighting—anything that will allow them to evade responsibility. Why? Because accepting responsibility, being accountable for their actions that have caused hurt, implies that they have done something wrong.
