And on the back of strong exports, facilities investment rose,... but it wasn't enough to push up output across all industries in Korea... as consumption remained sluggish.
Data released by Statistics Korea shows... that production across all sectors in December last year remained at the same level compared to the previous month.
Facilities investment jumped almost three-and-a-half percent from a month ago,... but retail sales declined one-point-two percent.
Production in the mining and manufacturing sectors dropped by half-a-percent on month.
