Banana chips/ Kele ki chips - It is a popular snack in South India and is generally created as munching day snack or as tasting savory snack with Tea. It is a straightforward recipe to create since it will only need raw bananas, oil to deep fry, and salt to taste. In Kerala some people make this recipe slightly different style. Those will add turmeric powder to give a bright yellow color to chips.
These South Indian banana chips are tasty evening tea time snacks or any time snack when you want to munch something while reading a book or watching a movie or enjoying the monsoon rains. I generally like to have some homemade snacks at home for evening tea time. I will upload the rest of the south Indian snacks soon.
