This Is Why We Would Buy The 2023 Mazda 3!
In 2023 your car defines your style statement. The latest generation Mazda 3 is certainly a great example of Mazda's excellence, boasting refined looks and upscale handling for a comfortable ride. In today’s video, we will discuss some of the reasons why we would buy the awesome 2023 Mazda 3. Let’s begin!
Different Body Styles
The Mazda 3 offers you choice and flexibility by coming in both hatchback and sedan body. Yasutake Tsuchida, who was the chief designer of the Mazda 3, says that the four-door sedan is the choice of customer who is looking for a sleeker, more elegant car, while the customer who is looking for a sportier design and more emotion will choose a hatchback. Both were designed with Mazda's distinctive Japanese design aesthetic and in our opinion, look better than all previous generations of the 3. So, whether you’re a sedan person or a hatchback lover, Mazda offers you style for both body types.
Suave Interior
The interior of the 2023 Mazda does retain some of the timeless features of the other version but many new adds and exciting upgrades make the Mazda 3 driving experience even more luxurious. The new design of Mazda 3 takes natural human movement into account and offers details that complement your driving style. From a large, ergonomic dial on the console to a new screen, Mazda 3 offers numerous features in the interior that enhance your driving experience. The interior of the new Mazda impresses many as it makes you feel like you're driving a luxury car. Its elevated interior is a factor that makes it better than many other vehicles in its class. The refined upholstery of the car gives the interior an upscale look with both greige tones and red leather options. So, if you’re looking for an affordable car with an elevated interior, look no more.
Exciting Engine Options
For 2023, Mazda has upgraded the 3’s base engine from a 2-liter four-cylinder with 155 horsepower to an improved 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 191 horsepower. Mazda also offers the Turbo Premium Plus version with gives up to 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque, and is easily capable of a 5.6 second 0-60mph run. Whilst even the base models feel fairly quick, it’s only really the turbocharged variants that feel genuinely fast.
The Mazda 3 Turbo Sedan models are also a great option as they offer the i-Activ AWD system to increase torque and optimize your driving performance in different climates and weather conditions.
Smartly Styled
The Mazda 3's sleek exterior design is one of its greatest strengths. The square headlights really stand out, while the dark grille gives the car a classy touch. The rear quarter on the hatchback receives very mixed reviews from fans with its muscular-looking shape. It creates an imposing look from behind and definitely obstructs visibility but overall, we think it looks awesome!
Mazda has clearly been listening to its audience as the popular carbon edition model is now available with all-wheel drive, something that was previously not an option for Mazda buyers and now allows for the optimum performance to match the styling.
Advanced Technology
Another feature that you now get as standard in the 2023 Mazda 3 is its new and improved infotainment screen. Mazda's tech engineer took a path that is different from their competition and omit the touchscreen elements for the infotainment system, in theory making driving safer.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also both standard features across all models. Overall, the 3 has a lovely interior across all trim levels, with interior features such as Bose 12-speaker audio, an electric moon roof, and heated front seats, making the 3’s cabin experience extremely pleasant for the daily commute or longer journeys with the family.
Improved Fuel Economy
Unlike supercars and GT cruisers, the small hatchback and sedan segment is definitely one where fuel economy is important to the buyers. The likes of Honda, Toyota and Hyundai have all been working on ways to improve the fuel efficiency of their cars.
The 2023 Mazda 3 comes through this year with improved fuel economy. Mazda has introduced cylinder deactivation to their 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine which according to EPA estimates, has improved fuel efficiency by 1mpg to 28mpg in the city and 37mpg on the highway. Hey, it’s only 1mpg but we’ll take it!
