Both lattice girders and wooden battens can be used to reinforce free-standing Pecafil® strip foundations. They prevent the formwork from twisting. Pecafil® universal formwork material makes it easy to create strip foundations. As a rule, the backfill is used to counteract the concrete pressure during concreting. In the case of free-standing strip foundations or foundations that protrude beyond the backfill, the concrete pressure is absorbed by transverse bracing. In this case, the two-dimensional load absorption is achieved by horizontal beams.
