To Make Curd Rice

Rice - 1 Cup
Curd
Milk
Water
Salt - 1 Tsp (Buy: [ Ссылка ])
Ginger
Green Chilli
Carrot
Pomegranate
Coriander Leaves

For Tempering

Oil - 2 Tsp (Buy: [ Ссылка ])
Urad Dal - 1 Tsp (Buy: [ Ссылка ])
Mustard Seeds - 1 Tsp (Buy: [ Ссылка ] )
Hing / Asafoetida - 1/4 Tsp (Buy: [ Ссылка ])

Shallots

METHOD:

1. Mash the cooked rice and add boiled, cooled milk to it.
2. Mix well and keep it aside for 5 mins.
3. Add thick curd to the rice mixture and add some water to make it goey.
4. For seasoning, add salt, chopped ginger, chopped green chillies, grated carrot, pomegranate and mix well.
5. Take oil in a pan and heat it. Add urad dal, mustard seeds and saute.
6. Turn off the heat and add hing, curry leaves, shallots. Turn on the heat again and roast the shallots for about 30 seconds.
7. Transfer the prepared tempering to the curd rice and mix well.
8. Finally add the finely chopped coriander leaves and mix. Garnish with grated carrot and pomegranate arils.
9. Yummy and soothing curd rice is ready to be served immediately.

Curd rice is a wonderful rice recipe which keeps you full and cools down your body. This is a great recipe especially in hot weathers and summers.
