He's a recognised thought leader and speaker in the field, leading GLP's global strategic marketing campaigns for top-tier destinations, media, brands, and operators. In his presentation, titled "Sustainability Storytelling for Destination Management," Rob emphasises the shift from destination marketing to management focused on sustainable practices. He explores how strategic communication complements destination management by leveraging sustainability storytelling to align with business goals and strengthen communities. Through real-world destination case studies, he demonstrates the practical application of these strategies, covering themes like travel dispersal, overtourism, diversity, and community-based climate solutions.
