Rescue crews are on Lake Norman to search for a missing swimmer Thursday afternoon.
The Huntersville Fire Department shared it had a fireboat on the water to help the Cornelius Fire Department with the search. Denver Fire Department also had a boat activated. The search is centered around an area near a sand bar.
