Heart rate recovery (HRR), is a measurement of how quickly your pulse returns to its resting rate when you finish a workout. This is one of the best indicators of your cardio fitness. Track your workout with TennisKeeper app and Apple Watch. After you End the workout, go to the Heart rate app to see the real time display of your HRR. To get a good reading, avoid doing anything strenuous for three minutes.
In this recording, my heart rate was 148 BPM when I finished my tennis workout and then 125 BPM at the one-minute mark. Therefore the Apple Watch shows -23 BPM after 1 minute.
At two minute mark, my heart rate drops to 105. Therefore the Apple Watch shows -43 BPM after 2 minute.
