Do you define your own success, or do you let society do that for you?

Society may tell you that you need a special job or that you need an expensive car or a giant house or a ton of money to be "successful." Don't get me wrong - all of those things are nice - but they don't equate to success for me. There are examples of people with all those things that are also completely miserable.

Adversely, if you have a family that cares about you and you care about them. If you have a positive outlook even when it seems like things are tough. If you can be grateful at the end of each day that you got to see another day - you are a success. Everyone I know that lives this way (and most of them are not financially well-off") is content.

Whether you feel like a failure, on top of the world, or anywhere in-between, take a moment right now to really define what success is to YOU. I believe in you.
