A Route Reflector (RR) is an iBGP router that acts as a centralized route management point within an AS. It is a method of overcoming the scalability problem that the iBGP full mesh peering requirement introduces into an AS. In this video, I will delve deep into what RRs are, how they operate, and how they overcome the limitations of scalability inherent to iBGP peerings.
