Growing up in a broken home, Chris did not know where his place was in life. He was constantly being bullied at school, got into trouble with not listening to authority figures, and ended up in military schools for the remainder of his teenage years. Chris got wrapped up in the wrong crowd and got started using meth. The highs were incredible, but the psychosis aftermath began to take a toll on his life; he knew it was time to change when he got caught in the act of self-mutilation and brought into a suicide clinic. Chris could hear voices that would tell him to self-harm and keep using, but his desire to live free and sober was much louder.
Chris is now sober since January 2018, involved in the recovery field; he enjoys seeing others get the help that they need to move forward with life. This is his story. #usingmystory
